How we work, and how we handle your information.
Privacy Policy
Coastline Build Co. ("Coastline", "we") respects your privacy and handles personal information in line with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, the federal PIPEDA.
What we collect
- Details you send through our forms: name, company, email, phone, project city, number of units and your message.
- Information you enter in the AI estimate: project quantities, selected trades and project address.
- Drawings you upload to the AI estimate, and questions you type into the chat assistant.
Why we use it
- To prepare your preliminary estimate and answer your questions.
- To contact you about your project and send a firm quote.
We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
AI services
Uploaded drawings and chat questions are sent to Google's Gemini service only to read quantities or generate an answer. Drawings are not stored on our website. Please do not upload documents you are not allowed to share.
Where it is stored and for how long
Contact and estimate requests are stored on our website's hosting server in a folder that is not accessible from the internet, and only Coastline can read them. We keep them for as long as needed to follow up on your project, then delete them.

Terms of Use
Preliminary estimates
The AI estimate on this website is orientative only. It is calculated from the quantities read from your drawings or entered by you, the trades you select and typical unit rates. It is not a quote or an offer. Final pricing depends on drawings, specifications, finish levels, site conditions and schedule, and is confirmed only in a written quote from our estimator.
AI assistant
Answers from the chat assistant are general guidance. They are not engineering, code-compliance or legal advice, and they do not create a contract.
Website content

Liability
We work to keep this website accurate and available but do not guarantee it is error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, Coastline is not liable for decisions made based only on website content or preliminary estimates.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
